Blacklist Checker
Check if your domain or IP address is listed on major email blacklists (DNSBLs)
What are Email Blacklists?
Email blacklists (also called DNSBLs - DNS-based Blackhole Lists) are databases of IP addresses and domains known for sending spam or malicious emails. Email servers check these lists to decide whether to accept, reject, or flag incoming messages.
Being listed on a blacklist can severely impact your email deliverability. Messages from blacklisted senders are often rejected or sent to spam folders automatically.
Common Reasons for Being Blacklisted:
- Sending spam or unsolicited emails
- Compromised server sending malware
- Poor email list hygiene (many bounces)
- Lack of proper email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- High spam complaint rates
- Sending from a shared IP with bad neighbors
How to Get Delisted:
- Identify and fix the root cause
- Follow the delisting process on each blacklist's website
- Implement proper email authentication
- Maintain good sending practices going forward
